This website

This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics. It is hosted on Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc., USA, certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework); Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type in server logs to deliver and protect the site (Art. 6 (1) f GDPR). Fonts are served from this site, not from Google. Videos are embedded from YouTube (youtube-nocookie.com) and load only after you press Play; from then on Google's privacy policy applies. If you e-mail us, your message is stored in Google Workspace so we can reply (Art. 6 (1) b GDPR).

Apps: nillonollin casting (Instagram and Threads)

We operate an app called nillonollin casting that connects to our own Instagram account (@nillonollin) and our own Threads profile through Meta's Instagram API and Threads API. The app is used to read and answer direct messages and comments that people send to @nillonollin, to publish our own posts and reels, and to read our own account insights.

What we process: if you message or comment on @nillonollin, we process your Instagram username, the content of your message or comment, the time it was sent, and any links you include (for example a link to a DJ mix). We use this to reply to you and, if you apply to take part in a recording, to review your application (Art. 6 (1) b and f GDPR). Applications are stored in our private records for up to 12 months after the casting ends. We do not sell or share this data with third parties; it is processed by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. as the provider of Instagram and Threads under Meta's own terms, and stored by us on a server in Germany and in Google Workspace.

Automation: some replies to messages and comments may be prepared automatically by software on our behalf. A person reviews applications and makes all decisions about recordings.

Data deletion

You can ask us to delete any data we hold about you at any time: send an e-mail to nillonollin [at] gmail.com or a direct message to @nillonollin with the word "delete". We delete your messages, comments and application records from our systems within 30 days and confirm by reply. Messages and comments inside Instagram or Threads themselves are controlled through your own Meta account settings.
